If you are using an SMTP plugin to assist with your emails, this may change the emails that are sent from the plugin if you are attempting to to use a form custom email. If you are seeing the default email notification message, it is possible that the SMPT plugin is overriding. Deactivate the SMPT plugin to see if that resolves this issue.
